The Botriver Challenge

This is mountain biking, running and trail running at its best and serves as the main fundraising event for BEF. Through the race BEF has managed to unite the community of Botrivier around the central theme of education. Research by our local municipal sports department has shown that the event is highly regarded by professionals such as Gerald de Kock. The model of the Botrivier Challenge is currently used by the Department of Culture Arts and Sports (DCAS) to encourage other developing communities.
